Axtell

Axtell was an exceptional trotting stallion whose accomplishments include setting the world stallion trotting record for the mile in 1889. Throughout 1889, he was engaged in an East-West competition with the trotting mare Sunol, which she won decisively. Due to an injury, he retired to stud not long after setting his record. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Trotter.
