Bend Or

Bend Or was a successful race horse in England in the late 1800s. He went on to stud and was very successful as a sire. His sons were better racers than his daughters, but many of his get went on to very successful careers in the breeding shed, and his daughters proved their worth as broodmares.

The dark, sometimes black spots that appear on some horses are named Bend Or spots after him due to similar spots that he had.
